22 Families at Refugee Women Connect have been supported by The Healthy Start Alternative.

The Healthy Start Alternative (now called Healthy Start Boost) is a new scheme set up by Feeding Liverpool in answer to the discrimination faced by asylum seeking women and women who are NRPF when applying for the access to the Healthy Start Programme and are routinely refused.

This Scheme is run in partnership with the 'Mary Rose' Voucher scheme and the 'Queen of Greens Van' and redresses this imbalance to help ensure all young families have a healthier start to life.
