Congratulations Comfort!

Last night our Director Comfort Etim joined many other incredible refugee women to celebrate their achievements and receive their Pioneer20 awards!

The award celebrates the achievement of incredible refugee women and we are thrilled that Comfort has been recognised for her work!

Comfort shares her thoughts on the needs of women who are seeking sanctuary.

“My take is that we need funding for organisations supporting women, to enable sustainable and continuous support. Women seeking Sanctuary need to be given opportunities and resources that will help them reach their full potential. Access to education, vocational training, mental health support, counselling, housing etc as this will drastically improve and uplift them in settling in a country that is home to them.”
