Refugee Week is usually a week of events where we spend time with our women reflecting on and celebrating the amazing contributions they make to our communities. In previous years we've hosted public events, our choir has performed, our women have spoken about their experiences, we've taken trips and held dance workshops!

This year's Refugee Week runs from the 15th June to the 21st June with the theme 'imagine'. We've been working with our women this week to prepare some fantastic content to celebrate the multitude of ways refugee and asylum-seeking women contribute to our communities but also to raise awareness of some of the injustices they face.

So whilst this year's celebrations may be a little different, it will be no less special and important. We have a host of virtual activities and actions planned with our women that we will be posting about throughout the week. Keep your eyes peeled and support refugee women during Refugee Week 2020 by sharing and supporting their work!
