From September – December Emily has been part of our Early Action team, joining us on placement as part of her undergraduate degree.  Emily has been a wonderful colleague and you can read in her own words about everything she has experienced and learned while with us.  We have gained just as much and will be sad to say goodbye to Emily at Christmas (although she does plan to return as a volunteer in the new year, uni permitting!).

In January/February we will be welcoming 3 new students, and look forward to getting to know them as they complete their placement as part of a Masters in Social Work. 

As an organisation with a small staff, the contribution made by our large team of incredible volunteers and placement students is vital to our work supporting around 700 vulnerable women and their families every year.
