This year Refugee Women Connect were finalists for the 2024 Community Organisation Award for Gender at the National Diversity Awards.

"We were honoured to be a finalist and recognised for our work with women asylum seekers and refugees. Our team of staff and volunteers, many of whom are women with lived experience themselves, work tirelessly to provide support and reduce barriers for women in accessing other support services and bringing about social justice. After the recent violent and racists riots which has impacted so many it is uplifting to know we have all been recognised in this way."
