Fill The Skies With Hope - You're Invited!

We believe that refugees are welcome here. Seeking asylum is a fundamental human right, which is currently under threat. We are appalled by the government's plan to forcibly deport people seeking sanctuary to Rwanda. Banning those crossing the Channel from claiming asylum is a breach of international laws, and together we are raising our voices in solidarity with asylum seekers, and we want you to join us!

As part of the Together With Refugees campaign, we're going to Fill The Skies With Hope. We will be making and sending orange heart-shaped paper planes, with your messages to the new Prime Minister. In stark contrast to the hostile plans from the government, we want to demonstrate broad support to end the cruel scheme to send refugees to Rwanda.

All Refugee Women Connect supporters, staff, and service users are invited to join us in sending a message to the UK government.

Tuesday 11th October, from 12.30pm

St Brides Church, Percy Street, Liverpool, L8 7LT

You can email your message to [email protected], and we'll include your very own paper plane together with our community's voices as we stand together with refugees and people seeking sanctuary in the UK. Please send your message across by Monday 10th October in order for it to be included.
