Jen's skydiving for Refugee Women Connect! I'm raising funds for Refugee Women Connect, a wonderful charity local to me that works tirelessly to support women refugees, asylum seekers and human trafficking. Never scared of a challenge, I'll be taking to the skies in Vegas on 30th September, skydiving from 15,000 feet in the air! The situation at the moment is exceptionally challenging for women seeking sanctuary in the UK, many of whom have been forced to flee their homes to escape situations of conflict, persecution, and abuse. While the cost of living crisis in the UK is making life hard for everyone, the people who stand to be worst affected are those who are already vulnerable and marginalised. By supporting my fundraiser, you'll be helping to provide essential practical and mental health support for women in the refugee and asylum seeking community.
