Refugee Women Connect are looking for someone with relevant experience to lead and develop our policy, advocacy and communication work. We work with and support women asylum seekers and refugees. Our service delivery takes place locally but our policy and advocacy work will be national. We are a small but growing charity and have grown at a significant rate over the last few years. Read more

Mother and baby fundraiser

We would like to say a huge thank you to Clare Mahony who has been fundraising for supplies for the Peri-natal group we will be running this year. Clare has been swimming outdoors, mostly in the Mersey, everyday in December and is carrying on throughout January. An incredible achievement particularly in this cold weather! Read more

Refugee Women Connect started life as ‘MRANG’ (Merseyside Refugee and Asylum Seekers Pre and Post Natal Support Group). MRANG was established as a registered charity in 2004 to meet the unaddressed needs of women asylum seekers in Liverpool, with a focus at that time on offering emotional and practical support to pre & post-natal women asylum seekers...
